Turnaround Time
Most of my products are made to order, allowing me time to carefully build and finish each piece. As a one person woodworking business, I personally manage every stage of the process.
Standard chopping boards: 7–14 working days
End grain chopping boards: 14–20 working days
Custom orders with additional extras: 14–20 working days
Custom furniture: To be discussed, depending on the size, complexity, materials and requirements of the project.
These timeframes are for build time only, from when your order is confirmed through to completion and dispatch. Shipping time is additional.
For larger or custom orders: I may need to source specific timber or materials before the build can begin. If this affects your order, I’ll let you know. This may add up to an additional 5 working days.
Shipping Times
Once your order has been completed and dispatched, shipping time will depend on your delivery location.
Canterbury: approximately 2–4 working days
South Island: approximately 2–5 working days
North Island: approximately 4–8 working days
Rural deliveries: may require additional time
Shipping timeframes are estimates and can vary depending on the courier and delivery location.
During Busy Periods
There may be times when I receive more orders than I can fit within my standard turnaround times. I will continue accepting orders, but new orders may be placed into a later build schedule.
When this happens, products may show “Join the Build Schedule” instead of the standard ordering option.
You can still order and pay as normal. Once your order is received, I’ll be in touch with an estimated timeframe based on my current schedule, and I’ll keep you updated throughout the build process.
Public Holidays & Specific Dates
Orders placed around public holidays may require an additional 5 working days.
If you need your order by a specific date, please mention this when ordering or get in touch before placing your order. I’ll always do my best to accommodate your timeframe, but specific delivery dates cannot always be guaranteed.
Thank you for your patience and for choosing custom made.
